I downloaded PoE in February but ended up not getting around to it. I am currently patching to give it a try, what is the best class? I think the idea of a templar is pretty sweet especially with the AoE dmg I am seeing posts about. Which class is highest dps? Which class survives the best? Classes aren't as straightforward and restrictive as you're assuming. All classes can use all abilities and gear. You choose your abilities first, and then decide what class will work with them the best. Your class mainly just determines where you start on the passive tree. ' As you play, quests will give you a small amount of 'refund points', which you can use to unspend skill points you've already spent. You can also do so with the (rather expensive) orbs of regret. Best Damage Class Poe
I was wondering which class does the highest dps with what skill gems. I saw in General chat that scions were doing upwards of 50kDPs is this true? if not, then which class. I have also been doing lvl 70 blue maps with random people who are melee and they just walk up to blues and yellows and melt them with 2-4 hits. Dischargers do 10x more damage than any other build. The best/most fun build and very easy to gear is a duel wield duelist use duel strike and reave in fast swords with these gems in this order of importants. Im not going to use concentrated effect as unless you have expensive gear it reduces range to much IMHO. so. melee in general do sick damage. imo having a 6l chest and being CI double crit daggers with something like dual strike/melee damage/melee damage on full life/added fire/multistrike/increased critical damage, running hatred+haste+20/21crit weakness+lvl3enhance and having an abyssus/meginords/etc will give you more than enough single target dps to melt everything. good luck one shotting yourself to physical reflects though^^ a more realistic approach would be crit ci daggers/claws with: dual/melee damage/melee damage on full life/multi/LL for single targets, swapping either dual for reave or one of the melee damages for splash (or remove LL if running claws) on a 5l with abyssus+megi, running hatred+grace +lvl20 crit weakness Last edited by shroudb on Dec 15, 2013, 7:34:11 PM | Posted by shroudb on Dec 15, 2013, 7:32:00 PM |
I hear legends of CI crit flicker double dagger builds that reach DPS upwards of 680,000. It takes a crapton of currency to get strong enough daggers for that, though. Imagine the best two-handed sword pDPS you can reliably expect from using around, say, 40 chaos. Now imagine a single dagger that has better pDPS than that as well as high critical strike mods. Yeah.
