This is a soul level 120 build based off of the efficient SL100 build found here on the fextralife wiki and works really well in PVP and PVE. I saw a lot of people criticising how the SL100 build spent points but I thought it was at least a very good start. Now, I'm new to builds so cut me some slack but I have found it to be a very fun build. The problems with the SL100 Efficient build are things such as spending many points in Vitality but still fat rolling(?) and some other stuff I'm not sure about. I started off with the SL100 build but managed to get Vitality down to 32 (and increased to 37 with rings) while still allowing mid/normal rolling (whatever). This is mainly due to using the Greatsword isntead of FUGS and a small leather shield because I found parrying more useful than the stamina recovery from Grass Crest Shield because people want to keep your Greatsword, and it's amazing scoops, at a distance which gives you enough time to recover stamina anyway. The faith parts are an afterthought and just for fun (also Greatsword lightning buff) and haven't gotten to try them out yet so I don't know how effective they will be, this means you can feel free to keep Dex at 10, Attunement at 6, and Faith at 9 if you so desire which will give you a lot of free points to spend. Dex was levelled to 12 for cast speed or something I didn't really know where to put them but I doubt 2 points makes a different for cast speed anyway and I will probably change these in my own build so feel free to do so. Maybe put it into a bit extra health or endurance. You may also think that going over the Strength softcap isn't a good idea but I believe there's also a second softcap at 60(?) You can always level it to 35 (Knight's ring to 40) and allot points elsewhere.

This build assumes NG so there are no +1, +2, +3 versions of Havel's or RoF meaning if you wish to go into NG+ and beyond you may be able to reduce your Vitality stat even more giving you more free points which opens the build even more and makes it more effective.

Build Strategy

I realised early on that the Greatsword can be a great match for the FUGS and can allow for a lot of weight to be cut down. I heard that the FUGS weapon art blocks which can really mess up your stamina in the middle of battle. Simply comboing with the Greatsword can destroy a lot of enemies and other players due to the maneuverability of the Greatsword's Scoop (Second R1 combo) and the fact that it does damage behind aswell when it swings back (which I've used to catch a lot of enemies off guard). If you miss the scoop enemies tend to either roll away, giving you time to regen stamina, or roll behind you but because the scoop does damage to enemies behind you it usually staggers them which gives you time to roll away from them.

Utilising the Greatsword weapon art allows you to poise through most attacks and then follow up with a strong attack which at the very least should stagger enemies if not get a fair bit of damage off on them.
