Sunwuko is one of the best Monk sets in Diablo 3. It offers several solid builds for various purposes. Here, we are presenting the best Solo Greater Rift pushing build based on the Monkey King's Garb set. If you prefer better mobility over raw DPS, you can also try the Sunwuko WoL's speed-farming variation. Our full guide can be found here.
- Diablo 3's Patch 2.6.4 brought significant changes to Raekor's Set bonus damage which now increases the damage of Fury spenders by up to an astounding 27500%! This is one of the highest damage bonuses out of all Diablo 3 sets, and on top of that, it's one that can be easily reached within a matter of seconds and selected Fury Spenders can be.
- You can easily improve that by 200 damage which is like an entire ancient ring Max dmg roll. Then rr for higher Dmg. If not rr Area Dmg for cdr. Remember that weapons can roll 10% cdr. I would consider getting a different shoulder, neck and rings. This is for Diablo 3 in Nintendo Switch, so I am very apprehensive of technical.

General information
The entire build is based on the Monkey King's Garb (named after Sunwuko the Monkey King) set which provides the following bonuses:
- Damage taken is reduced by 50% while Sweeping Wind is active (2/6)
- Sweeping Wind spawns a decoy every tick next to the last enemy the Monk hit. The decoy taunts nearby enemies and then explodes for 1000% damage for each stack of Sweeping Wind currently active within 10 yards (4/6)
- Lashing Tail Kick, Tempest Rush, and Wave of Light have their damage increased by 1500% for each stack of Sweeping Wind the Monk currently has (6/6)
Sunwuko set in combination with Vengeful Wind legendary Fist Weapon increases the damage of Wave of Light to an insane level. This combined with all the items listed below, make up for one of the strongest damage dealing abilities in the game. It is even further amplified by the use of Bastions of Will rings. Your primary attack also is used to generate additional Spirit (you won't be able to use Epiphany - Insight for that purpose), and grant increased damage reduction thanks to Spirit Guards legendary Bracers.
Sunwuko WoL build is easy to play. All you have to do is to keep your Sweeping Wind up (just casting it once you start a Greater Rift is more than enough) and spam Wave of Light. You also need to keep your buffs up that include Spirit Guards, Bastions of Will and Dashing Strike Dodge Chance to stay alive.

Patch 2.6.4 brought plenty of changes to the power of builds, and with extreme buffs to Inna's Mantra Set, this is currently the strongest Monk build in Season 16. While there are others strong builds that remain excellent choices for all the Monk players, if you want to compete at leaderboards and push the highest GR, this is definitely your go-to build. On top of that, it's very good and fast at Bounties and speed-rifting.

General information
The entire build is based on the Inna's Mantra set which provides the following bonuses:
- Increases the passive effect of Mystic Ally and the base passive effect of the Mantra by 100% (2 pieces)
- Gain the base effect of all four Mantras at all times (Monk Only) (4 pieces)
- Gain the five runed Mystic Allies at all times and your damage is increased by 750% for each Mystic Ally you have out (Monk Only) (6 pieces)
Thanks to Season 16 global event, where everyone has Ring of Royal Grandeur buff we are allowed to skip Inna's Radiance and use Convention of Elements Ring which provides:
- Gain 150–200% increased damage to a single element for 4 seconds. This effect rotates through the elements available to your class in the following order: Arcane, Cold, Fire, Holy, Lightning, Physical, Poison
The Inna's Mantra set is extremely powerful and versatile. Combined with The Crudest Boots it grants 7500% damage increase and all Mantra buffs, which allows you to use any skill you want, but with all available Legendaries that increases Wave of Light's damage, this is definitely the best skill choice in terms of raw damage output.
The gameplay mechanics for Wave of Light build are simple. You dash between monster packs either with Dashing Strike or Rabid's Strike passive which teleports you on Wave of Light cast, while Epiphany is active. Using Serenity with over 60% cooldown reduction makes you immune to damage over half the time spent in Rifts. This build could be played with a lot of different weapon combinations, but Kyoshiro's Blade and Rabid Strike are the best options.
