Dec 03, 2014 I'm confused by scrolls in the DMG.the description says that any character capable of reading a language can attempt to cast a spell from a scroll, then on the next page continues with an optional rule for mishaps which can occur when someone fails to cast from a scroll. But nowhere does it.
