Don't look at weapon speed as it's simply a modifier for the base damage (slower speed, more damage).In this base Cryptmaker HC has 938-1407 Damage and Shadow's Edge has 872-1309 Damage and so Cryptmaker HC is likely the superior choice of MH weapon.Keep in mind that Racial Expertise can still make an impact on the positioning of weapons due to MH Expertise being superior to OH Expertise.
