The bigger zombie is a serious threat, especially during explosion
Dragons Dogma Bitterblack Fire Drake Takes No Dmg

In this location you will find the second of three main bosses on the Bitterblack Isle - the Dark Bishop. However, in order to get to him you will first have to deal with larger versions of zombie (without fire fighting them is nearly impossible). After walking down the winding stairs you will also find two knights: silver and a gold one. They don't differ much from themselves. It is important to focus all your strength and pawns on one of them at once since they can heal each other.

Finally you will fight the boss, Dark Bishop. On one hand it is quite a challenge. On another however, the battle is quite schematic and by following specific rules you shouldn't have many trouble with defeating him.

You can knock down the opponent, once it happens hit him with the most powerful attacks

Jun 01, 2013  Playing as Mystic Knight. Have maxed all other classes out and have obtained all 'augments' in the game at this point. Fight is in a secluded room during the decent down the Bitterblack.

The boss is exceptionally resistant to magic attacks (excluding the dark magic) and elementals but he is quite vulnerable to many critical effects - Silence will make it impossible for him to perform stronger attacks , Torpor and Burn will be effective as well. He is fully resistant to poison. His attacks are very powerful, you cannot underestimate it - especially the attacks with large area of effect (explosions) and tornadoes which almost always will kill you instantly. The second enemy is a dragon. It is just a puppet controlled by the boss - it has small number of health points that drops after some time. Despite that, first focus your attention on him whenever he is resurrected because he has all the attacks of the Cursed Dragon, including the very dangerous petrification ability. You can stop Bishop from resurrecting the dragon by causing a very strong explosion while the enemy is casting - after that he will fall to the ground and become an easy target for short time.

When the battle starts, immediately jump in any direction to avoid the incoming dragon - he will fall after few attacks (notice that the monster has no heart that would be vulnerable to attacks, so you must mostly attacks its head). Then avoid all spells of the boss, but don't walk too far away from him. In case of some spells he will start flying lower and will be vulnerable to a melee attack - in that case use the strongest attacks, especially the ones that cause explosion, to stop the spell and the fall of the opponent.

The hardest and most important part is when Bishop is resurrecting the dragon and possessing its body. When that happens, he gains few new tricks and has more health points. However, when you defeat him then he will be forced to regenerate by laying for more than doze of seconds - during that time attack him with the whole party. You can almost with no trouble take 1-2 health bars of his during that dime. In that way the battle shouldn't take much time and effort.

Once the battle is over, in addition to being able to continue the storyline you can obtain the Dragon Forged upgrade for one part of your equipment and you will gain large number of valuable drop. You will also receive The Inquisitor achievement/trophy if it was your first time when you defeated that boss.

Riftstones that you use to summon your Pawns are damaged and you will need to repair them before you can actually use them

You will encounter mostly skeletons and zombies, and one large 'boss' skeleton. However, it does not act like a normal boss, so set it on fire and hit hard (you can even knock it over or throw it up in the air).

Mar 15, 2018  Here's an in depth look at elemental damage in Monster Hunter World, and how to prioritise your skills. If you enjoyed the video, don't forget to hit LIKE and leave a COMMENT down below. I still don't know why people think weapon speed has ANYTHING to do with whether element or status is good on a weapon. The only thing that matters is how much element or status the weapon has vs how much raw it has, the motion values for raw on that weapon, and the raw / elemental hitzone weakness of the specific monsters you are fighting. Elemental Damage or Elements in Monster Hunter World (MHW) refers to the secondary damage dealt by Weapons and Monsters and lowered by specific Resistances. For a more complete rundown on combat with Monsters, see Weapon Mechanics, Defense, and Elemental Resistances. FAQ: Some Weapons have Elemental Damage that is grayed out and in parentheses. From Monster Hunter 3 onward, certain monster attacks can inflict Hunters with status effects known collectively as Blights. The higher the Element Resistance on your armor against the corresponding Element, the less likely the Blight will be inflicted upon being hit. A low Element Resistance. Monster hunter do monsters suffer status effects from elemental dmg. Status Effects are special buffs or ailments in Monster Hunter World (MHW) which come in the form of Player-and-Ally-only Effects, Elemental Blights, and Abnormal Status Ailments. Both Hunters and Monsters can receive Effects from Skills, the environment and attacks. For a more complete rundown on combat with Monsters, see Weapon Mechanics, Defense, and Elemental Resistances.

Watch out for the monster from the chest. You will often need to heal yourself and it will try to digest you

Fire Drake Manual

Be careful when you open chests as you can be attacked by a specific monster that awaits you in on of the chests. It can kill you in a matter of seconds if it catches you, so once you free yourself, don't try to fight it and run away.

Gorecyclops will not cause any trouble until you attack it

Move on until you reach another pair of green doors. Take the stairs and get to the arena where an imprisoned Gorecyclops awaits. It is a more powerful, bigger and well armored version of a traditional cyclops. However, when it comes to combat techniques it is quite the same (vulnerable to ice). The major difference is that climbing it and jumping down will result in a very painful fall. Furthermore, his armor has spikes which will constantly cause damage. The only safe place on its body are its shoulders - Damage that you inflict from this place is rather low but it is a good way to draw the creature's attention away from other team members, and the monster can't throw you off (it will try to do that by moving but the loss of stamina is extremely low).

At the top of the stairs you will find Void Key that unlocks your way in Duskmoon Tower
Fire

One way or another, you don't have to fight this boss. It is chained to the wall, and will set itself free after you take half or the entire life bar. Make your way to the top and kill skeleton mages. You will find Void Key that is required to open the door in Duskmoon Tower. Head back there.
