Assault Rifles are one of the most beginner-friendly guns in CoD: BO4 due to its automatic shooting feature & relatively low recoil. It's easy to control & can help beginners get used to the pace of the game. Powerful In Mid Range. Assault Rifles deal good damage in mid-range shootouts. Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Best Weapons. Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Weapon Tier List. The Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Best Weapons Tier List for Blackout Battle Royal is based on accumulated weapons stats and the meta for each gun type.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 weapons are among the best in the FPS genre. Treyarch have made heaps of changes to the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 weapons, adding new attachments that are tailor-made for each gun, predictable recoil, and accurate tracers. It’s the most substantial overhaul to weapons in the series’ illustrious history.

There are five primary weapon categories and three secondary weapon categories in the game, and every gun in Call of Duty: Black Ops can be equipped, regardless of which Specialist you pick. We’ve been hands on with the core multiplayer mode of Black Ops 4 to bring you the statistics and names of every weapon that was in the game at preview stage as well as what situations they work best in.

There are additional boomsticks for your arsenal in Blackout and zombies, such as returning classics and special Mystery Box weapons – check out our Black Ops 4 Blackout weapons and Black Ops 4 zombies guides for that. Anyway, enough with the flim-flamming, here are all the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 weapons.

Assault rifles

Great from medium to long-range, assault rifles generally boast solid recoil and can accommodate a wide range of attachments.

maddox rfb

If you can control your recoil, this fast-firing AR will decimate your target. The Echo Fire Operator Mod makes the vertical recoil even harder to manage and generally isn’t worth equipping.

kn-57

You’ll want to get in up close with this one: the KN-57 deals devastating damage at short range.

ICR-7

Much like the ICR and ACR from previous Call of Duty games, the ICR-7 is fully automatic and very easy to control. Unfortunately, it doesn’t pack much of a punch, which is made worse by its mediocre fire rate.

Rampart-17

Comparable to the SCAR, you can expect higher damage and recoil at the cost of a sluggish rate of fire from the Rampart-17. The horizontal recoil will inevitably mean wasted shots, so get practicing if you want to build a class around this assault rifle.

Vapr-XKG

A high rate of fire and very low recoil make this feel more like an SMG, but it downs quickly at medium range, too. A decent bridge between the two categories.

Submachine guns

Best at short-range and handy when aiming down sights isn’t a viable option, the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 submachine guns are great at clearing out rooms and battling in congested areas.

gks

The GKS is pretty accurate, fast-firing, but falls short when it comes to actually putting targets down. The Operator Mod, Quad Shot, increases the damage output significantly, but spoils everything else that’s great about this Black Ops 4 SMG.

MX9

Arguably the best weapon in the games so far, the MX9 has a very high rate of fire and moderate damage. Its only letdown is a tiny bit of recoil, although this can often work in the shooter’s favour.

Cordite

This well-rounded SMG is very easy to use and has superb iron sights if you don’t want to waste create-a-class points on a sight.

Saug-9mm

Very much the Uzi-9mm of Black Ops 4, the Saug-9mm is great for spray and pray gameplay.

Tactical rifles

This new weapon category appears to house the non-automatic assault rifles, so expect the same damage and recoil brackets, but in the form of semi-automatic and burst-fire rifles.

abr 223

The ABR 223 is closer to an AR than it is a sniper, due to its limited range. But, its three-round burst is surprisingly lethal so don’t overlook it.

Auger DMR

This designated marksman rifle is all about dealing high damage, with only three or four shots needed to kill an opponent. Alas, its slow rate of fire might keep it out of the meta. Check out our list of the best Black Ops 4 classes to see how to get the most out of this DMR.

Swordfish

A burst-rifle that works much like the M16 in previous COD games, the Swordfish is sadly let down by a low damage and rate of fire. You need three bursts to kill with this gun making it inconsistent at best.

Light Machine Guns

High magazine capacity and solid damage at the cost of a whole lot of recoil.

Titan

LMGs are often a little disappointing, but the Titan is an excellent example of the category. Its modest 75-round magazine means it’s very mobile and it deals heaps of damage as well – all in all a great suppressive firearm.

Hades

The Hades is much less damaging than the Titan, but its fire-rate means it can still tear enemies apart with ease. Its Operator Mod, the Cross Bar, is one of the most intriguing in the game, as it swaps ADS for a focused hip-fire.

VKM 750

This LMG looks like a relic compared to the other Black Ops 4 weapons, but it deals the highest damage of any gun in its class, but it will massively hinder your mobility.

Sniper Rifles

These are tougher to handle than in previous Call of Duty games, but the two currently available are both one-hit-kill monsters.

SDM

This SR won’t kill with one-shot, but its fast rate of fire makes up for it. This is Black Ops 4’s version of the M14: a powerful weapon when you spam the trigger.

outlaw

The Outlaw boasts a higher rate-of-fire than the Koshka, but you’re aim needs to be up to snuff: this SR is a one-hit kill, but only to the head.

Paladin HB50

This is just like a .50cal with very slow aim down sights time and rate of fire. Naturally, it makes up for it with extremely high damage.

Koshka

Slightly less damage that the Paladin, but with a fast bolt-action and aim down sights time, the Koshka will be popular with aggressive snipers players.

secondary weapons

combat knife

If you can get behind enemy lines unnoticed, this one-stab killing combat knife will murder – and embarrass – your enemy in the best way possible. Only the brave will create a class around this weapon.

STRIFE

Decent for finishing foes, this is an all-round sidearm with moderate damage and rate of fire; expect it to down in five or six hits.

rk 7 garrison

The speedy rate-of-fire of the RK 7 Garrison’s three-round burst is effective, provided you can control its recoil.

mozu

If you’re feeling confident in your aim, then the Mozu is the sidearm that should have pride of place in your loadout. It’s the pistol with the highest damage and is decent at long-range.

sg12

Those that favour a nimble playstyle will get a lot of joy from the SG12. Its strong mobility and high damage spread make it perfect for close-range encounters.

MOG 12

Frustratingly, the MOG 12 doesn’t appear to be capable of killing with a single shot, but with the right attachments it’s a fiend up close.

Hellion Salvo

Useful when contesting busy capture points and highly effective when fired from the high ground. The main reason to bring this along is to take down enemy scorestreaks and equipment.

Black Ops 4 Beta

Drop into the Blackout map and you’ll find an abundance of weapons and other gear to help you survive in Call of Duty’s new battle royale mode.

Once you’ve scrambled to grab the nearest weapon to hand and checked your corners, you’re going to want to upgrade your weapon as soon as possible. It’s all well and good knowing which is the best weapon in Blackout, but you still need to find it.

Explosive Dmg Rifle Black Ops 4

Weapon drops and locations are randomised in Blackout so we can’t guarantee you’ll find every weapon on this list each time you play. Once you’re armed, however, your chances of finding better gear increases, so grab what you can and run for cover.

Clearing out a horde of zombies can grant you something special like the lethal Ray Gun or Monkey Bomb, while Supply Drops will usually gift better than average assault rifles and snipers.

Black

Enemies will also drop their gear which you can loot, and with the added pressure of a shrinking play area and threats from other players, you will need to make decisions quickly as to what weapons and gear you take.

We’ve compiled our list of the best weapons to carry in Blackout. We won’t go over every weapon, so if you don’t see one here then let us know why you favour it in the comments below. If it’s not listed here it’s probably an average weapon – the purpose of this list is to know what to horde and what to avoid on the Blackout map.

Blackout weapon ranking – which are the best weapons in Blackout?

Assault Rifles

Assault rifles are good all-rounders for short and long range confrontations, so narrowing them down to the best can depend on personal choice and skills.

Rampart 17: The Rampart deals the highest amount of damage, but the trade off is its slow rate of fire. It’s one of the best assault rifles in the game if you’re accurate enough.

If you want something more balanced, go for the KN-57, which is a great all-rounder.

ICR-7: The strength of the ICR-7 is its accuracy with minimal recoil. Damage isn’t as high as the Rampart, but you’ll find more shots hit the target.

The VAPR-XKG is another powerful weapon that has excellent precision at both long and close range distances. When paired with a x2 scope, it’s a formidable weapon and useful when waiting out the last few rounds of Blackout.

Tactical Rifles

Auger DMR: The Auger DMR is the best weapon in Blackout. It’s great in almost every situation, deals a lot of damage, is superb at mid-range and punches above its weight at long range too. It’s accurate and powerful and will win you a fight on more than one occasion so always favour it over the Swordfish.

The Swordfish is a worthy substitute; tap the trigger fast enough and it becomes a fully automatic weapon with exceptional accuracy.

Jan 22, 2019  You are absolutely right I forgot that holy point rolls elemental damage too. If he's running frostburns then crit chance actually becomes better than cold damage by 1.28% DPS (assuming that he has perfect rolls on the bracers and quiver, but crit chance is better anyway even with average rolls). Once again this depends a lot on your current stats. However you'd need pretty extreme stats (low crit damage, high crit, low% lightning skill damage, almost entirely lightning damage) for 20% lightning skill damage to be clearly better than 10% crit chance. If you want exact calculations, I'd need your armory. Pet damage is in the same category as elemental damage. Elemental damage is only slightly better than ancient intelligence for Helltooth Gargs (EDIT: you have to pass a high intelligence threshold for this to be true), and it is certainly worse than 10.0 Crit Chance. How should one weight elemental damage compared to other damage stats? Ask Question Asked 5 years. Have 20% crit chance and 200% crit dmg and 0% Elemental Damage. You will result in 1000 + 2/10 x (1000 x 2). Browse other questions tagged diablo-3 or ask your own question. Crit dmg vs elemental dmg diablo 3.

Both of these are essential and you should definitely pick either of them up if you find them.

SMGs

The SMGs in Blackout are good for close range, especially in enclosed areas where movement is restricted. Get in close and first and you’ll overwhelm the majority of enemies.

Cordite: The Cordite takes the most common ammo, and lots of it. It has a quick rate of fire so great for spitting bullets at enemies.

The Spitfire does have a faster rate of fire, but only marginally, and does a little less damage.

MX9: Some of us favour the MX9 for its low recoil and faster rate of fire, and it takes the .45 Cal bullets, the same as the Spitfire.

LMGs

Light Machine Guns do a lot more damages than SMGs but they’re clunky to reload and slower to move around. Great for a confident full-frontal assault or suppressing firepower if you have a teammate doing something a little less conspicuous.

Titan: An absolute beast, the Titan has a high rate of fire and isn’t too jumpy with the recoil. Lay down and spit suppressing fire to put groups of enemies under siege.

Zweihander: Eliminate a whole group of zombies and you’re likely to unlock the Zweihander. It’s a monster with two barrels, and although it doesn’t do the most damage it uses the most common ammo type, the 7.62mm. It looks cool as hell, too.

Sniper Rifles

For those that take their time and like to fight from a distance, there are two sniper rifles to choose from in Blackout.

Paladin HB50: This does more damage than the Koshka, which fires faster. You’ll need to be accurate, but if you know how to handle the Paladin you’ll take heads off.

Shotguns

You know the drill with shotguns: devastating at very close range, useless for anything else. Equip when entering the smaller buildings on the map, but still not as usable as an SMG.

SG12: This is the best shotgun because it’s fully automatic and doesn’t require a reload and as we all know, every second counts. In Blackout, that is.

Explosive Dmg Rifle Black Ops 4 Maps

Explosives

Molotov: The thing we like most about the Molotov is the chaos. Not only does it spread flames for area effect damage, anyone in close proximity usually panics and makes a move. Great if you know where someone is roughly camping out, and generally more effective than a Frag Grenade.

Hellion Salvo: The Hellion has a very specific use which it does very well. With a lock-on target, it will destroy vehicles and any players inside them. It’s most useful in Duos or Quads, where enemies are moving quickly and in groups.

It’s rare, so you can take out entire teams who aren’t expecting it, but it’s not really worth carrying around in Solo unless you drop it near your location and know where to pick it up should vehicles approach – but that’s doesn’t really happen in the late game.

Special weapons

There are a few other weapons and gadgets dotted around the map that can be lethal in the right situation. These are they.

Explosive Dmg Rifle Black Ops 4 Download Free Pc

Ray Gun: The only pistol worth mentioning. The Ray Gun fires really slowly but it’s an instant kill if you hit your enemy. Fun, but you’ll only find it by killing zombies so it’s more of a novelty than anything else.

Black Ops 4 Pc Download

Combat Axe: the combat axe is lethal, providing a one-hit kill if your aim is true. It’s assigned to the right bumper by default, so doesn’t take up a weapon slot and it’s silent if you’re worried about attracting unwanted attention. It’s a great find and should be equipped immediately, but remember it will take the place of an equipped explosive.
