How To Calculate Burn Dmg
Ok, So I really have no idea what order or how modifiers work on righteous fire after the dot changes so I have no idea what my DPS is. Can someone please calculate the DPS or tell me the formula I should be working with. Stats at the moment: HP: 3432 ES: 129 Increase Burn Dmg Total: 133% I assume the IBD Skill gem stacks with passives if not Passives is 80%,Gem is 53%) Increased Fire DMG: 6% Increased DoT: 27% (I was told this affects RF) Increased AoE DMG: 8% Increased Ele DMG: 40% (is modifier is on my mace 'The supreme Truth' unique. I assume it affect my dmg) Cheers | Posted by on Dec 26, 2013, 3:23:37 PM |
Sure Your base fire damage per second is half of your hp, so 1716, which is your base dps. Your final dps is 1716 * (1 + 1,33 + 0,06 + 0,27 + 0,08 + 0,4) = 5388,24 Now, if you used a level 20 concentrated effect it would be 5388 * 1,69 = 9106,13 You might want to think about it :) Есть один путь - наверх! ◄[www.moddb.com/mods/balancedux]► ◄[www.moddb.com/mods/one-vision1]► | Posted by on Dec 26, 2013, 3:42:16 PM |
' Cheers I'm actually running Increased Area of effect as I've found it's hard to get the dmg to actually work with a small AOE RF. Most monsters just desync so its impossible to hit them. Edit: I might run Increased Aoe And Conerntreated effect actually. Also My DPS is actually 5589.2 You forgot to take into account my ES =p Last edited by Shmoogle on Dec 26, 2013, 3:53:10 PM | Posted by on Dec 26, 2013, 3:47:23 PM |
Made this simple spreadsheet that calculates the DPS Based on what I know affect RF. Here for anyone who finds this thread through search or w/e. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AttJgLNbNdePdFVWaS12WTBMY0xjUGFBcWh1RU9TTlE&usp=sharing | Posted by on Dec 26, 2013, 5:47:35 PM |
' Hi everyone, i was looking how to calculate my RF dps and i found this thread If i am not wrong.. life 4176 energy shield 378 burning damage 188% increased area damage 78% increased dot 27% increased spell damage 46% increased elemental damage 10% increased fire damage 28% spell damage 46% using this give more 32,75 damage so my dps is about 70k? ty Last edited by caiaio on Feb 16, 2014, 1:45:40 PM | Posted by on Feb 16, 2014, 1:43:41 PM |
' Spell damage has no effect to RF since there is no spell involved. Another way to put it, RF just burns, so everything else you included, with the exception of Spell Damage, apply to the DPS equation. (4176 + 378) * .5 * (1.88 + 0.78 + 0.27 + 0.10 + 0.28 + ???) = 7536.87 dps The ??? is because I do not know much your total STR is to determine how much increased damage you have. You probably have more dps. Also, you also have to take into account with monster's res, so: total DPS * (1 - monster's res) = real dps Let say there is a mob with fire res (75%), the equation would be 7536.87 dps * (1 - 0.75) = 1884.21 dps If your RF's radius expand out really well, I recommend using Concentrated Effect since it would really skyrocket your DPS. (4176 + 378) * .5 * (1.88 + 0.78 + 0.27 + 0.10 + 0.28 + ???) * (1 + 0.67 (lvl 18 CE)) = 12586.57 dps Sometimes you can take the game out of the garage but you can't take the garage out of the game. - raics, 06.08.2016 Last edited by JohnNamikaze on Feb 16, 2014, 2:12:28 PM | Posted by JohnNamikaze on Feb 16, 2014, 2:11:34 PM |
' Ty for your attencion using that sceptre i have 262 str forgot to say that im using EE and flammability.. | Posted by on Feb 16, 2014, 4:32:58 PM |
' (4176 + 378) * .5 * (1.88 + 0.78 + 0.27 + 0.10 + 0.28 + 0.33 (assuming it rounds up)) = 8288.28 dps If the fire res mob gets cursed by flammability and is under EE, their res will be in the negatives, so your DPS actually boosts up from your original DPS. The ones without fire res, die instantly. Sometimes you can take the game out of the garage but you can't take the garage out of the game. - raics, 06.08.2016 Last edited by JohnNamikaze on Feb 16, 2014, 9:09:57 PM | Posted by JohnNamikaze on Feb 16, 2014, 9:09:35 PM |
I don't think there's 78% increased area damage in the entire game. Maybe we've got some More Area Damage mixed in that by mistake. | Posted by KG31459 on Feb 16, 2014, 10:18:58 PM |
