Is Their Head Shot Dmg In Sot Pvp

This PvP guide is no longer current and will be dissolved in an upcoming site update.

Welcome to this World of Warcraft Legion Guide for Subtlety Rogues looking to optimize their character in end-game PvP, such as Arenas and Rated Battlegrounds. We take an alternative approach to standard character optimization class guides as we use purely leaderboard statistics to make recommendations.
While this guide looks like a standard class guide, it is actually automatically generated using statistics we've created using the Official Battle.net WoW API, specifically the PvP Leaderboards. The guide recommendations are based on final polished statistics from the best Subtlety Rogues. Due to that, our guides are able to show what stats, talents etc. are proving to be most successful in competitive PvP. We update the data daily to keep these guides current.

Browsing through this guide couldn't be easier. Below are the guides available, and remember you can always use the tabs above to navigate through them.

Shot
  • Eye of reach: The eye of reach is one of the worst weapons in the game in terms of PVP combat capabilities, that is not to say that someone couldn't get good use out of it, but the scope is slow and clunky, so aiming feels like a chore, and due to the pistol doing over half health, both weapons take the same amount of shots to kill someone.
  • Jan 23, 2016  This is speaking from a pvp perspective, from a pve perspective I dont see any reason to go vamp tbh. The proxy det+ sap + clouding is also strong for killing groups. Also the concealed + movement from vamp stacks, hence why it hard to keep them.
  • Aug 07, 2018 NERFS ARE COMING, its going to hit MM Hunters HARD! This is just one of the two builds i've been playing lately. I'm trying new things before the nerf hit us! This is by far the build that is.
  • Stat Priority

Optimized Stat Priority and Stat Summaries.

  • Gems & Enchants

    Optimized Gems and Enchants.

  • Main Talent Build

Max-performing Talent Build and information on talents.

  • PvP Statistics

Extra analytical charts from excess leaderboard statistics.

  • PvE Guide

We also provide this PvE guide for Subtlety Rogues, based on heavy research, play-testing, and SimulationCraft results.

It was the door Rare needed to open, so that their game can provide competitive play and host tournaments on all kinds of public or live events. On top of that (and as somebody already mentioned) it's not pure PvP, as one of the key requirements in order to win is to turn in chests.

Magicka NBs have the increased movement speed in stealth from Conceiled Weapon so you dont necessarily need to be vamp. Batswarm is a good ultimate but Soul Thether is better with Proxi Det because it deals all dmg instantly.
Stamina NBs dont have increased movement speed in stealth, this is the main reason why my stam NB is a vamp. Im also using Flawless Dawnbreaker as ultimate on my main bar so in this case its useful to Batswarm on my second bar because it deals dmg over 6 seconds.
WW can also work for stam builds but I dont have much experience with this personally.

Also the concealed + movement from vamp stacks, hence why it hard to keep them pinned with aoes or such and stop them going into cloak.
I would personally prefer Soul Thether on magicka NB because its burst dmg (which makes it harder to outheal) and you can slot it on your main bar (stam NBs slot Flawless Dawnbreaker for the increased weapon dmg).
Vamp works on magicka NBs for sure but it does make you a lot more squishy. Especially against Camo Hunter and Dawnbreakers.
