I've been having some issues with Recount lately, well it's not really a technical problem, but just some confusion.
Personally, I always reset Recount before a boss because I'm of the opinion that DPS on boss is the only thing that matters.
Some guildies have been saying that I was underperforming y/day, bt y/day I was AFK during trash and since they did not reset Recount during the entire raid I have a feeling their data is incorrect because it included trash as DPS aswell.
So many question is; Is it 'cheating' to reset Recount before every boss or should I just leave Recount alone during the entire raid and will the DPS increase if do more damage and decrease if I do less damage? Does the damage done on trash(or the lack thereof) have an effect on DPS outcome after a boss?
