Recently Google has stopped allowing DMG files to be sent or received via Gmail.When sending in data to us we recommend using our ‘Collect Data for IGG’ app that encrypts your data using a unique password into a DMG file.If you are a Gmail user having issues sending in your data to us we recommend uploading the encrypted “Send Me To IGG.dmg” file on Google Drive, then sending us a link to the file on Google Drive.

Send Large Files Through Gmail

  1. On your computer, open Gmail.
  2. Click Compose.
  3. Send the email to the email address provided by IGG. Enter the name of your support representative and your Ticket ID in the Subject line for the email.
  4. Click the Google Drive icon (triangular icon).
  5. Select the “Send Me To IGG.dmg” file you want to attach – Make sure to attach the encrypted “Send Me To IGG.dmg” file specifically, not your unencrypted Banktivity Document file.
  6. At the bottom of the page, decide how you want to send the file:
    • Drive link: This works for any files stored in Drive, including files created using Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, or Forms.
    • Attachment: This only works for files that weren’t created using Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, or Forms.
  7. Click Insert.
  8. Send the email to the email address provided by IGG.
