See title. Honestly, Trundle has 2 damage abilities: his q and his r. Q scales of AD, R scales off of AP. Granted his R is a pretty good bruiser tanky ability, why the hell does it scale of AP? I mean it's not like you have problems with people doing some pretty absurd amounts of percent based health damage, just look at Mordekaiser, Mundo, or Elise for that, so it seems kind of like an oversight. I mean I can kind of understand WHY since he gains the health as max health that he steals, but lets be honest: Trundle's a tank character, if you build THAT much AD just to utilize his ult like that then you're going to feed before you get that far. I mean Mordekaiser can build up to around 60% of a characters max health with his ult with a full build. Even if you kept the current scaling with Trundles ult and just swapped it over to AD he'd still have around a max of 40% on even a pretty offensive build since getting AD numbers high is a LOT more expensive than getting high AP numbers.
IDK it just feels like a big joke that his ult even has scaling to begin with if its not going to at least be on something you could at least feasibly build on the champion.
EDIT: Did some of the math, turns out Trundle has a 2% scaling to his ult, ergo even with an AD of 400 and a max ranked ultimate he still only does 36%, so my original estimates were WAY off.. So even with an ungodly amount of AD, Trundles ult STILL isn't unbalanced.

I would like to say now that I don't believe trundle is under powered at all, but I see him as a back seat jungler with not enough power to change a match like Udyr and Warwick. I don't want trundle to be a champion anymore where you pick him and everyone is cussing you out just for clicking on him.
Idea #1 - I would like to see pillar of filth turn into something such as Anivia's ice wall, the pillar is too small in comparison to it, Anivia's ice wall can block off a whole lane while trundle's pillar can't even effectively block a jungling route without perfectly placing it in the .5 seconds you might have time to do so.
My suggestion to this. I don't want him to have a wall like Anivia, but maybe a pillar big enough so you can place it on a turret so melee champions cannot attack it, or keep the speed locked in and make the pillar larger with each skill level.
Idea #2 - I believe trundle should be turned into a AP AD hybrid, Trundle's ult does little damage or have a good effect, he is not very tanky with no real tank abilities except his passive (which doesnt work on neutral minions) and his contamination zone isnt an effective escape route seeing that he stops and has to cast it. I believe you should make his Q have an ability power bonus as well so items like hextech Gunblades would give him the damage he needs to be a game changer in a battle.
