Uninstall Downloader_setup_mac.dmg

Completed a fresh install of Exchange 2010 on Windows Server 2008 R2, the install went without any issues, however when opening either the EMC or EMS there is no access, continue to get the following errors in the event log.

I have attempted to reregister the dll and also to replace it however it did not solve the issue, the instance of Exchange can not find the server and or the database on startup. I have attempted to uninstall all the Exchange rolls and have been able to
remove all but the mailbox and Management Tools, when I do I receive this:

Since I do not have access to EMS and can not perform any of the necessary requirements to remove the mailbox role and uninstall all of exchange and attempt a reinstall.
Any help with this would be most appreciated.

Thank you for the reply, I have checked the applicationHost.config as indicated, and the path shown is the same as in the error message, there is no D:Exchange,ServerV14Bin path, it is as indicated in the error D:Exchange2010Bin. Here is the section

As indicated in my post, I have replaced the kerbauth.dll from another functioning exchange 2010 installation and it has not corrected the issue.
At this point I am looking for a solution for removing the mailbox role and being able to complete the uninstall of exchange and perform a clean install.
Any additional help with this is very much appreciated.

  • Please help. I have been using itunes with my ipod nano for years. Several months ago I did a requested upgrade and have not been able to open itunes since. I get an error message that says that itunes was not installed correctly. Error 7 (Windows error 126) I have tried to uninstall all Apple programs and reinstall itunes several times and it doesn't work. I keep getting the same message. I am looking for a solution to get my library back so I can but more songs for my ipod.

  • hey guys. I am having major problems with my MacBook. I have been using it for over a year with no problems, however last night it crashed big time. Data loss isnt an issue, as I did a full backup the night before. I need to know if it possible to format the hard drive through the terminal. I have been trying to do so with no luck as the drive continually gives me the error 'resource busy.' it does this in terminal, single-user mode and disk utility off of the DVD. I am pretty savvy with all but the most complicated terminal work. How do you check running processes and end them through the terminal? I think if I can fix that, I might be able to format the drive. Its havng b tree and leaf errors through fsck. It may need to be replaced. Let me know what is this best way to format the drive and get it back to a blank slate through the terminal and fix the resource busy problems.

    If you boot the 'offending' Mac as a FW target disk, there should be no permissions issues on that drive. Permissions are controlled by the OS which will not be loaded when the computer is booted into target disk mode. If the target disk is connected to a running Mac, you should be able to treat the drive just like any other external FW drive. At that point, you should be able to delete any existing partitions on the drive, create (a) new one(s) and 'zero out' the drive. There is an 'Ignore permissions on this drive' option that should be selected. I can't imagine any logical reason that you could not reformat the drive in this manner.

    Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

    Let's try a standalone Apple Mobile Device Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of why it's not installing under normal conditions.
    Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

    Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe), and select 'Extract to iTunesSetup' (or 'Extract to iTunes64Setup'). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called 'iTunesSetup' (or 'iTunes64Setup').
    Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi (or AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi) to do a standalone AMDS install.
    (If it offers you the choice to remove or repair, choose 'Remove', and if the uninstall goes through successfully, see if you can reinstall by doubleclicking the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi again.)
    Does it install (or uninstall and then reinstall) properly for you? If so, does your device connect without that message now?

    I have an Exchange 2010 SP3 instance, I then added a Exchange 2013 installation, the 2010 Exchange needs to be rebuilt due to space issues on the current host and moving the 2010 Exchange will require too much downtime.
    The issues that I am running into is when installing the new instance of 2010 on the new host with the Exchange 2010 x64 SP1 ISO, I am met with the following error:

    After some reading I understand that Exchange 2010 must include SP3 to co-exist with Exchange 2013, all the roles have installed without any issues except the client access role, I get the above mentioned error, thus I cant upgrade to SP3.
    I came across a solution where the OAB needs to be removed and then re-created, but unfortunately this will cause too much issues as the OAB is always in use.
    So I am stranded where I need 2010 SP3 to install the server, but as far as I know there is no 2010 ISO with SP3 available.
    Any advice would be appreciated.

    That *is* the SP3 version.
    Otherwise, if you install Exchange 2013 (with no other Exchange 2010 servers present), you definitely cannot add 2010 servers after the fact.

    But if you started with 2010, then add 2013.. I think you can add or replace 2010 servers provided they are at SP3.
    What if you had lots of Exchange servers (a hosting company for example) and had to replace a server member of a DAG? Let's assume some mailboxes have been migrated to DAGs on E2K13 and some are still on E2K10.
    Note: within a particular DAG you cannot have differents versions of Exchange but you could have some DAGs with E2K10 and others using E2K13.
    It would seem that you would have to be able to install a new/replacement E2K10 server in this case? You could not replace it with a E2K13 server.

    If this is a mounted Disk Image, it should be easy to check, here's an example of the typical way of 'Ejecting' Disk Image and trashing its associated .DMG in the Finder
    Click the ' > ' button next to the DI to Eject / Unmount it
    Drag the .DMG file to the Trash or type CMD + delete
    Verify that the .DMG is in fact in the Trash > Empty the Trash by your favorite method
    If there is an error at this point, take a screenshot and insert it here

    I have a similar issue - my iPod nano connects and is visible in Device Manager yet invisible in My Computer and iTunes. I've tried everything I can possibly think of to try and solve this myself, all in vain.
    Mine is a nano 4G. I've been using it for quite some time without the slightest problem. I have been using WINAMP instead of iTunes to manage my darling nano.
    Then, one fine day I bought a new computer and the nano would not show up in My Computer, though the nano display shows 'Do not disconnect'. On my old computer it worked (and still works) absolutely fine with win XP as well as with win7 (the later I currently use on my new/problematic computer, which I bought last summer and that's how long I've had this problem).
    Of course, after several first attempts I gave up and installed iTunes. I've tried using the Apple support article 'iPod not recognized in 'My Computer' and in iTunes for Windows':
    - reset
    - fully charged,
    - cable works fine on two other computers
    - in normal or disk mode makes no difference
    - tried to find anything useful in the diagnostics mode
    - reinstalled iTunes several different times since then to the latest version
    - I've unplugged every other USB device except for my mouse and keyboard and tried several different USB ports on my motherboard (USB 3.0 and conventional), as well as trying different USB- related options in my BIOS.
    - I've never used any Mac with this ipod
    - I've tried fiddling with the win7 Services by stopping and restarting them and of course
    - uninstalling the iPod drivers in Device Manager. After such an uninstall the ipod would automatically be recognised and 'ready for use', i.e. being invisible in My Computer.
    - Attempted to find any possible third-party conflict with msconfig or the possibility that my ipod is being confused for a network drive (for which I've disconnected my HDD, leaving only my SSD with the OS).
    Sometimes, iTunes would note that iPod service (or something, can't remember exactly) failed to install properly and asked to try and repair it. I would click YES! and voila - no change! The ipod would rarely show up in iTunes on my problematic computer like this:
    iTunes would warn me that the nano would need restoring so I would try and do it on my haunted machine upon which iTunes would freeze like you seen in the picture.
    Despite this, I've updated and restored the nano on my father's computer to the latest version without any problems. This though, did not solve my problem in any way.
    I can load music to my nano through my old computer (which for me is a real pain and hassle) and the gadget works normally in terms of its disconnected functionality.
    I've taken my nano to the local service for repair and they said it was fine. Mercifully, they didn't charge for the diagnostics service (gee, thanks for not ripping me off!).

    That is my sad story as far as I can remember. It's most likely something with the drivers or something along those lines though I'm out of ideas at this point.

    I confirmed with Exchange support team that DAGs could be backed up separately.
    Meanwhile backup database is important if you need to recover both Exchange server settings and database. See:
